The National Archaeological Museum of Naples (MANN), is probably the most important museum for Roman archaeology.
Actually, a large part of the collections of the Naples Museum comes from Campania area in Roman times, and especially from the town around Vesuvius. artifacts, paintings, close-up details mosaics, bronze statues, household objects including precious silver accessories, fine ceramic tableware and personal ornament.

we start visiting the Farnese section, an impressive collection of statues from Rome. Among them there are two of the biggest statue never found, the so called Farnese Hercules and the Farnese Bull (also called the Punishment of Dirce)
In the second floor of the museum we can admire the collection from Pompeii and Herculaneum: frescos, daily objects, Mosaics.
