Mt. Rokko which stands just behind Kobe city is one of most popular trekking areas for locals! Despite being so close to the city, the trails are full of nature and show varieties of the landscape. We go up rocky hills, cross the waterfall and rivers. After going over steeper ascent, there are superb panoramic view of Kobe and Osaka which is said to be worth 10M dollars! Then we finish our trip at one of the oldest spa areas Arima Onsen.

The mountain trekking at Miwa was an amazing experince!! One I will never forget, and it was made possible by Tomoya! He was super friendly, super helpful, and super patient. He accompanied me all the way to the mountain and took as many breaks as I needed. He helped me understand the significance of the experince, as well as showed me lesser known spots for some very cool photos! If you're an english speaking foreigner, you're in good hands, he speaks english super well! If you're looking to hike Mt. Miwa while you visit Japan, please book Tomoya! You wont regret it!
